This year our Christian Education department will be participating in Ignite Tucson, a Christian Ministry Conference. The event will take place on January, 21 from 8:00am to 3:00pm with various breakout group sessions and lunch! Saturday, January 14 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. there will be an important Summer Camp Meeting at the church. Interested youth (grades 3 – 12) and a parent/guardian should attend, as we gear up for fund-raising and support. This years Summer Camp is July 1 – 6.

On Saturday, December 24 at our 6pm worship service the youth and children are joining together to present “Just a Little Christmas”. It is a play about the first Christmas, with a musical piece at the end. We will meet on Dec. 4th for orientation after 2nd service. We will conduct rehearsals on Dec. 11th, Dec. 18th, after 2nd service, and Dec. 21st. Dress rehearsal is Dec. 23rd at 6PM (you do not need to attend all rehearsals to be a part of the play). For youth 6th – 12th Grade. Please have the youth bring at least $10.00 for this event for rides. Luke, Crystal, Michael and Genevieve will be monitoring this event. We will meet at the church parking lot at 8:00 am. We will leave Phoenix at 5:30 pm and we will return at 8:00 pm approx. at the church parking lot. Kids who do not have parents to pick them up will be taken home. Genevieve will make some sandwiches and bring some drinks for the event. We wanted to take a moment to thank our teachers for a great Fall Kickoff. We have made it through the hot summer months and have moved into our new classrooms. We are setting record attendance in Children and Youth Sunday Services as we continue to grow as a department. This does not happen without a group of dedicated and talented teachers who give of themselves unselfishly each week.
