Week 17 : December 20, 2010 – Christmas is almost here and the workers are doing their best to make things more presentable for this special day. The holes that have been in our ceiling were patched up. The ‘Black Wall’ that has been at the back of the sanctuary has been removed. Week 13 : November 22, 2010 - Hmm it seems the photographer was on vacation this week and so there is no pictorial of the progress for the week. Week 9 : October 25, 2010- The frame work for the roof over the addition to the preschool was started this week and they were able to get it enclosed. We saw part of the church’s back wall come down so the roof trusses for the expansion of the church building (what used to be the breezeway) could be put in place. Unfortunately, in order to keep the sanctuary weather tight, the ‘black wall’ of visqueen was hung, not bad if we were looking for a haunted house effect…. Week 10 : November 1, 2010- The back wall of the church exists no...

Week 5 : Sept. 27, 2010 - Inside the sanctuary, the wood paneling on the altar area was taken down, revealing yellowed wall board that will eventually be replaced. Patches of termite trails were worrisome, but later were found to be a “dead” issue. The sliding glass door on the northeast of the Children’s Center was removed to create the doorway outside. The footings have now been poured as well as the pad or floor for the children’s center expansion to the north and block walls are starting to go up. Week 6 : Oct. 4, 2010 -...
